Luv A Lotl Responsible Axolotl Keeper Agreement 

Luv A Lotl takes special care of their axolotl to ensure their health and well being. Axolotls are exotic animals and there is special care that is needed.  
Luv A Lotl agrees to assist all buyers in creating a safe environment to the axolotl(s) that you purchase from us either online or in person.  This will be done by an aray of ways, (phone, text, FB messenger, website care guides, and cycling guidelines.) 
Once the axolotl is in the hands of the buyer, it's health and well-being are beyond our control. We are always available for any questions and care information. We will not guarantee the health (sickness or accident) of the animal once the responsibilities belong to the new owner. However, if within 7 days of purchase health issues related to genetics arise, we must be contacted ASAP. Failure to do so will void the health guarantee. You will be asked questions about your husbandry – please do not take offense at this. Also be prepared to send photographic evidence of the animal and its enclosure as well as water tests using API liquid freshwater tests.
 
You will be advised to take your axolotl to an exotic veterinarian (all vet bills that you incur are your responsibility). If the veterinarian finds the cause to be genetic, we will stand behind our animals 100% and will issue a credit for the cost of the axolotl (no cash refunds will be given). You will be responsible for shipping costs for the replacement animal. A copy of the test results or necropsy evidence as well as veterinary contact information must be provided before credit will be issued. All issues will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
 
 • LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE (for shipping) if the following criteria is met: You should contact us no later than 60 minutes from the time your axolotl was delivered. In the unlikely event that an animal is DOA we will require video and photographic evidence within 60 minutes of arrival.  Please do a video of you unpacking the box/bag to ensure that you have what you need.  • REPLACEMENT ANIMAL: If all of the above criteria is met and you qualify under our health guarantee, we will replace the animal with a comparable animal from our available stock if one is available, or we will issue store credit toward a future purchase. You will be responsible for courier costs for the replacement animal. We do not guarantee the sex of a axolotl unless it is marked as Proven Male or Female.

Luv A Lotl wants to ensure that all axolotls are going to good homes where they will be cared for in the best possible way. We reserve the right to refuse sale to anyone for any reason.
